About the Presenters Paul Smith Bsc (Hons), MBA is director of WSI Duneira Enterprises Limited, an Internet Business Consultancy with a proven track record in delivering tangible business value via the Internet. An experienced and determined problem solver Paul worked for Ford Motor Company, Cadbury Schweppes (Coca-Cola Schweppes), Whitbread Beer Company and Allied Domecq before starting his own business. As director of WSI he has helped a wide variety of small, medium and large companies to increase and improve the value of their Internet business. Dr Mary Thomson is a Decision Scientist from the Division of Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University and has in-depth experience of how and why consumers form opinions and make choices. Using the latest scientific research into consumer perception and the results of eye-tracking studies into how websites are read and understood she is able to provide a unique insight into the secrets of Internet success. Simon Thompson is an Internet Business Consultant who has over 30 years of experience supplying business solutions to customers across Europe. He was in at the start of the Internet for Business era, providing websites to large Financial Institutions. He has career has included working for companies such as IBM, ICL, AT&T and Sema Group; working with companies and organisations in a wide cross section of business and governmental sectors. Andy Noble is an Internet Business Consultant with over 25 years experience delivering IT solutions and services to private and public sector customers across the UK, Netherlands and Spain. His career has included working for companies such as Concurrent Computer Corp, Northgate (MDIS), McKesson, IBA and Torex; working on R&D projects with Lloyds Bank International, BT, Telefonica (Spain) and the MoD. Through his WSI business, Andy has helped small and medium sized businesses increase their profitability via the sensible use of internet technologies and proven marketing strategies. Rob Thomas ACIB is director of WSI Custom Consulting Services Ltd, an Enterprise & Internet Marketing Consultancy with an excellent track record in delivering successful business solutions from process re-engineering, learning management systems through to web and Google advertising campaigns. An effective thinker and deliverer, Rob has worked with Lloyds TSB, Barclays, Alliance Trust, PIPC (UK & Europe) Ltd, before starting his own consultancy business. As director of WSI, Rob’s focus is on helping Small, Medium and Larger sized organisations grow their bottom line profitability. Rob get’s most satisfaction from helping those enterprises drive targeted traffic to their websites and then helping them convert those prospects into loyal buying customers.
